Rowing along the Waterfront in Jelsa

A lone rower glides along the waterfront in Jelsa in the late afternoon in April. To the right, the daily catamaran which connects the town with Split. Jelsa has a well-established rowing club, one of the many water activities on Hvar.

This photograph was taken by Chris Connor who runs the Quaich Experience in Vrbanj, and is taken from the town's premier restaurant, Me and Mrs Jones, which recently reopened in its new location across the harbour, at the old Napoleon restaurant.
